Killer Whale Survey
This Report describes two weeks of observation of killer whales (Orcinus orca) at Sea Lion Island. Two specific groups were recognised – one group of six was photographed with individual charactistics identified. This is the first attempt at an in-shore study of cetaceans of the Falkland Islands. It was supported by the Falklands Conservation Small Grants Scheme.
