Falkland Islands Invertebrates
In a land without native trees, land mammals, reptiles or amphibians, the number of invertebrate individuals and their biomass (combined weight of all individuals), make up the largest part of the Falkland Islands fauna. Falkland Islands Invertebrates Project
The recent Falkland Island Invertebrates Conservation Project has undertaken surveys of the Islands’ invertebrate species and identified their conservation threats. Project activities are found in the Invertebrates Project Newsletters, Invertebrata Falklandica.
