Rookery Island and Islet Nature Reserve

Rookery Island and Islet (2.5 Ha, 6 acres)
This nature reserve is managed under a long term lease to Falklands Conservation from Mr Robert Gibbons.

It is a small island which lies north of the entrance to Grantham South and 1.5km from Wreck Point. It has a fairly dense cover of tussac grass and has probably never been stocked. The small islet to the NE is low lying and rocky with no tussac grass.
